German Gulf Enterprises planting the seeds to grow with Oracle E-Business Suite for Financials, Distributions, HR and Asset Management
Oracle partner Intelligent Corporate Solutions Selected to Manage the Implementation
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, November 1, 2007 German-Gulf Enterprises Ltd (GGE) established in 1974, is one of leading companies in the Emirates. The company has been the pioneers in importing concrete pumps, plaster machines and other mortar pumps into the U.A.E. Since its inception the company has become a brand name in the Region reflecting uncompromising quality and professionalism in every facet of their business and has undergone rapid growth with branches now scattered across the UAE.
Due to this growth and its aggressive expansion strategy, German Gulf have now selected the Oracle E-Business Suite to manage its finances, purchasing, HR and Asset Management. Initially, the elements of the Oracle E-Business Suite deployment anticipated to deliver the maximum value to German Gulf are Oracle Financials, Oracle Purchasing and Enterprise Asset Management. The financial solution, which includes accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and cash management, will give German Gulfs Management an up-to-the-minute, integrated view over all of the organizations funds. Similarly, procurement is a major element of German Gulfs operations and Oracle Purchasing will enable centralization and automation of the buying process, which should bring about greater transparency and a more efficient buying process overall.
"Given the current construction boom our industry is experiencing there is now tremendous potential to rapidly grow the business across the ME region to take advantage of this period of high liquidity being experienced by the major GCC countries , said Richard Eller, CEO, German Gulf Enterprises. However, we need strict controls, greater transparency and rapid timely management information, which the Oracle E-Business Suite is set to help us achieve.
German Gulfs management opted for Oracle partner Intelligent Corporate Solutions as the implementer of its new software infrastructure. Increasingly, companies in the ME Region are realizing that the software underpinning their business can have a major impact on their ability to grow and take advantage of the many opportunities that are now present in the Region. Ultimately, without timely, accurate management information an organizations ability to respond to market changes is diminished and their competitive advantage is eroded.
The decision made by German Gulf to implement Oracle E-Business will no doubt ensure they remain one of the most successful companies in their industry and add further value to their already solid competitive advantage, said Shumon Zaman, CEO, Intelligent Corporate Solutions. |
